U.S. women's team wins six gold medals en route to Schoolgirl Pan Am team championship

SANTIAGO, Chile – The U.S. Schoolgirl freestyle team put up another dominant performance for the Red, White and Blue at the Schoolboy/girl Pan American Championships on Friday, with the seven athletes collecting six gold medals and one silver.
The US team won the team race and shared a podium with second-place Ecuador and third-place Peru.
The champions were Sterling Dias of Nevada at 37 kg, Alexandra Szkotnicki of Maryland at 40 kg, Sage Mortimer of Utah at 44 kg, Kylie Welker of Wisconsin at 48 kg, Alexis Zepeda of Oregon at 52 kg and Kennedy Blades of Illinois at 62 kg.
At 34 kg, Virginia Foard of Virginia won silver.
Zepeda was named the tournament’s Outstanding Wrestler.
