NCAA announces Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, St. Louis and Detroit as Division I Wrestling Championships host sites for 2019-2022

The NCAA announced host sites for the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships to be held through 2022 on Tuesday.
The announced sites for the 2019-2022 NCAA Championships are as follows:
Following 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio, the NCAAs will return to Pittsburgh, Pa. for the first time since 1957 when it was held at the Fitzgerald Field House. PPG Paints Arena will play host to the event in 2019.
In 2020, the tournament will travel to U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn., and for the first time since 1997 the championships will be held in a football stadium. The last football facility to host the championships was the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
The Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo. has been selected to host the NCAAs in 2021, the sixth time the event will take place at this venue. This year’s NCAA Championships held at the Scottrade Center were the third most attended in the history of the event.
In 2022, the NCAA Championships return to Michigan for the first time since 2007 when the tournament was held at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The 2022 edition will take place at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Mich.
