CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina wrestling team will host ACC rival North Carolina State at Memorial Hall on the UNC campus Monday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. The event, dubbed Brawl at the Hall, will feature the two local foes in dual competition in this unique campus setting for the first time.
Memorial Hall was originally erected on the UNC Campus in 1883. It had its most recent facelift in 2005 after an $18 million renovation.
The historical building serves as a performing arts center and is a memorial to former North Carolina governor and past president of UNC David Lowry Swain, to other notable North Carolinians, and to the students, faculty and staff who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 10 a.m. and are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under. Carolina students will be admitted free of charge with a valid UNC One Card.
More details about this exciting event will be available in the coming weeks, so check back to GoHeels.com/wrestling for updates.
