Immel, Bryant, Van Kley win journalist prediction contest for 2015 World Championships in Las Vegas

Every year, USA Wrestling asks international journalists to predict the winners of the World Wrestling Championships in all three styles. This year, with the World Championships in Las Vegas, Nev., a record 22 international journalists sent in their predictions prior to the start of the championships.
Three journalists were tied in first place with 13 correct World Champions predicted, Richard Immel of USA Wrestling, Jason Bryant of Short Time Podcast and Bryan Van Kley of W.I.N. Magazine. All three winners are journalists from the United States.
Immel picked two Greco-Roman champions, six women’s champions and five men’s freestyle champions. Bryant had two Greco-Roman champions, seven women’s champions and four men’s freestyle champions. Van Kley selected four Greco-Roman champions, five women’s champions and four men’s freestyle champions.
Placing second with 12 correct champion predictions were wrestling fan Sina Etemadi and Willie Saylor of Flowrestling, both also from the United States.
In third with 11 correct winners were Petr Pavlov of Sakhamedia (Yakutia/Russia), Christian Pyles of Flowrestling from the United States and Andy Ross of 49 North Wrestling (Canada).
Four journalists had 10 correct selection: Ali Feizasa of Iranian Student News Agency (Iran), Fulvio Melo of the Brazilian Federation - CBW (Brazil), Craig Sesker of USA Wrestling and Byambaa Tsagaanbaatar of MSPU (Mongolia).
