Single session tickets now available for the U.S. World Team Trials in Madison, Wis., June 12-14

Single session tickets for the U.S. World Team Trials and the UWW Junior World Team Trials in Madison, Wis., June 12-14, will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, May 28.
This highly anticipated event will determine the entire men’s Freestyle World Team and Women’s Freestyle World Team, a total of 16 weight classes. Champions qualify for the U.S. team at the 2015 Senior World Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada, Sept. 7-12.
The champions of the UWW Junior World Team Trials will compete on the men’s freestyle team at the UWW Junior World Championships in Recife, Brazil, Aug. 11-16.
Single session General Admission for Friday, June 12 is $10. On Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, tickets are $20 for General Admission, $30 for Reserved seats and $50 for VIP seating.
Tickets are available for purchase through Ticketmaster by going directly to the U.S. World Team Trials ticket location on their website, www.ticketmaster.com.
A half-price general admission ticket package is available for high school teams/groups of 10 or more. Contact the Madison Ticket Agency at (608) 267-3995 to purchase the team/group tickets.
Many of the nation’s top stars are expected in both tournaments.
On the Senior level, Olympic champions Jordan Burroughs at 74 kg and Jake Varner at 97 kg are expected, along with Olympic medalists Coleman Scott at 61 kg, Clarissa Chun at 48 kg and Randi Miller at 69 kg.
World champions in the field include two-time World champion Adeline Gray at 75 kg and 2012 World champion Elena Pirozhkova at 69 kg. Other World medalists in the field include two-time World medalists Tervel Dlagnev at 125 kg, Alyssa Lampe at 48 kg and Helen Maroulis at 59 kg, plus World silver medalist Jake Herbert at 86 kg.
There is a strong contingent of Wisconsin-based athletes in the field including Wisconsin Regional Training Center athletes Nazar Kulchytskyy and Connor Medbery, past NCAA runner-up from the University of Wisconsin Tyler Graff in men’s freestyle, plus Wisconsin high school state runner-up and two-time World medalist Alyssa Lampe.
The UWW World Team Trials in men’s freestyle could include 2013 Junior World champion and 2014 Junior World silver medalist Kyle Snyder at 96 kg, plus Junior World silver medalist Joey McKenna at 60 kg. 2014 Cadet World champion Mark Hall is expected at 74 kg. Many of the nation’s top high school stars and college underclassmen will be showcased.
The first session of the U.S. World Team Trials will begin on Saturday, June 13 at 10:00 a.m., with finals set at 5:00 p.m. The action will continue the next day, Sunday, June 14, at 10:00 a.m., with finals set at 5:00 p.m.
The UWW Junior World Team Trials will begin Friday, June 12 with a challenge tournament at 9:00 a.m., followed by finals trials, which includes a best of three series, starting at 2:00 p.m.
