Marina Doi competing for Team USA at the 2014 UWW Junior Worlds in Croatia. The Body Bar Nationals sets the USA World Teams on the UWW Junior and UWW Cadet levels.
Registration is still open for the 2015 Body Bar Women’s National Championships, which will be held at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas, March 15-17.
The Body Bar National Championships includes the national championships at the UWW Cadet (15-17 years) and the UWW Junior (17-20 years) levels, as well for Schoolgirls and Girls Div. I and Div. II.
Champions of the UWW Junior division in the official UWW weight classes qualify to represent the United States at the 2015 UWW Junior World Championships in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, August 11-16.
Champions of the UWW Cadet division in the official UWW weight classes will qualify to represent the United States at the 2015 UWW Cadet World Championships in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzogovina, August 25-30.
Athletes can register online for all divisions at TrackWrestling until 7:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, May 13. The fee for participants registering online is $35.

Athletes may also register on-site (cash or check) during their designated time. On Friday, May 15, UWW Cadets, Schoolgirls, and Girls Divisions I and II may register from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, May 16, UWW Juniors may register from 5:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. The entry fee for participants registering at the event is $45.
Five members of the 2014 UWW Junior World Team are eligible to return, including Junior World bronze medalists Marina Doi of California (44 kg) and Kayla Miracle of Kentucky (59 kg), plus team members Cody Pfau of Colorado (48 kg), Becka Leathers of Oklahoma (55 kg) and Alexis Porter of New York (63 kg).
Three members of the 2014 UWW Cadet World Team are eligible to return, Hailey Cox of Utah (43 kg), Sariyah Jones of California (46 kg) and Gabrielle Garcia of California (52 kg). Three other Body Bar UWW Cadet National champions who did not compete at the World Championships and are eligible to return include Tory Marrufa of Texas (40 kg), Taylor Rosario of Texas (78 kg) and Emily Huerta of Washington (84 kg).
Weigh-ins for UWW Cadets, Schoolgirls, and Girls Divisions I and II will occur on Friday, May 15 at 8:00 p.m. UWW Juniors will weigh-in on Saturday, May 16 at 5:30 p.m. Please note that UWW Cadets wishing to participate in the UWW Junior tournament MUST weigh-in again during the UWW Junior weigh-in time.
The competition will begin on Saturday, May 16 at 9:30 a.m. with Session I for UWW Cadets, as well as Preliminaries through finals for Schoolgirls and Girls Divisions I and II. It will continue at 2:00 p.m. with Session II beginning Round 1 of the Best of 3 Finals for the UWW Cadets.
Wrestling will resume on Sunday, May 17 with Session I of the UWW Junior competition. It will continue at 2:00 p.m. starting the first round of the Best of 3 Finals during Session II.
