Greco-Roman WTT, Schoolboy/Girl Duals and NWHOF Banquet live on Flowrestling this weekend

It is a busy weekend in the world of wrestling with the Greco-Roman World Team Trials, Schoolboy/Girl National Duals and National Wrestling Hall of Fame Honors Weekend taking place over the next four days, all of which can be viewed live on Flowrestling.com.


The Greco-Roman World Teams Trials are set for Thursday night at 8 p.m. (EDT) in Ithaca, N.Y. and will feature the top two finishers from the U.S. Open in each weight class battling for the coveted spot on the U.S. World Team.


Highlighting the Greco-Roman World Team Trials field are two-time World Bronze medalist Justin Lester (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army), World Bronze medalist Andy Bisek (Colorado Springs, Colo./Minnesota Storm) and two-time Olympian Spenser Mango (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army).


Seven World Team members from last year are still in the running for return trips to the World Championships that will be held in Las Vegas, Nev. this September.


Also starting up on Thursday is the Schoolboy/Girl National Duals that will take place at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Ind. Greco-Roman competition at the Schoolboy/Girl National Duals will run Thurs. and Fri. followed by freestyle competition on Sat. and Sun.


Team Colorado surprised many on its run to the Greco-Roman championship at the Schoolboy/Girl National Duals last year as they defeated Team Illinois 36-31 in the championship dual. Two days later, Team Pennsylvania topped Team Illinois 41-33 to take home the top spot in the freestyle tournament.

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame Honors Banquet and Induction Ceremony will be streamed live on Flowrestling this Saturday at 8 p.m. (EDT) free of charge.


Honorees being inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame this weekend include Sammie Henson, Frank Berttucci, Joe Gonzales, Gregory Johnson, Mike Golic, Mike Powell, Kenny Ritchie, Dave Bennett, Zahid Valencia and Marizza Birrueta.
