Snyder, Graff, Chun and Ragan to compete at international tournaments in December

Kyle Snyder, shown after his semifinal win at the 2015 World Championships, will return to the mat at the Brazil Cup on December 11.
Four top U.S. Olympic-caliber wrestlers will compete in overseas international tournament during December.
2015 World champion Kyle Snyder (Woodbine, Md./Titan Mercury WC/Ohio RTC) will compete at 97 kg/213 lbs., and Tyler Graff (Dublin, Ohio/New York AC) will wrestle at 57 kg/125.5 lbs. at the Brazil Cup in Contagem, Brazil, December 11-12.
Snyder will be competing for the first time since winning his World title in Las Vegas in September, becoming the youngest American to win a Senior World title at the age of 19. He is currently on an Olympic redshirt year from Ohio State. Snyder also boasts a 2013 Junior World title.
Graff, an NCAA runner-up for Wisconsin, is coming off a victory at the Bill Farrell International in New York City in November.
Both Snyder and Graff will compete on Friday, December 11.
2008 World champion and 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Clarissa Chun (Morgantown, W.Va./Sunkist Kids/Mountaineer RTC) will compete at 48 kg/105.5 lbs. and three-time U.S. World Team member Alli Ragan (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC) will compete at 58 kg/128 lbs. at the Open Cup of Russia, Dec. 10-11 in Cheboksary, Russia.
This year, Chun is attempting to be the first U.S. women’s wrestler to make three Olympic teams, after competing in both the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China and the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England.
Ragan has competed in three straight Senior World Championships, with her best finish being fifth at the 2014 Worlds. She is a two-time Junior World bronze medalist.
Chun and Ragan will wrestle on both Thursday, December 10 and Friday, December 11.
