Final five U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers get draws for UWW Cadet Worlds in Bosnia-Herzogovina

SARAJEVO, Bosnia- The final five U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers have weighed in and received draws for the second day of the 2015 UWW Cadet World Championships on Wednesday. This event features the world’s best 15-17 year old wrestlers.
Junior Nationals Greco-Roman champion Wyatt Koelling of Utah opens his competition at 85 kg against 2015 European Junior bronze medalist Ihar Yarasheevich of Belarus. Koelling was a 2015 Pan American Cadet Greco-Roman champion.
Jake Allar of Minnesota, a 2014 Cadet Nationals Greco-Roman champion, will open against Shayan Afifi of Iran, who was fifth in 2015 Asian Cadet Championships.
There are two athletes from Wisconsin competing on Wednesday, Eric Barnett at 42 kg and Brady Koontz at 46 kg.
Barnett opens with 2015 European Cadet bronze medalist Nicola Menghetti of Italy. Koontz will face Giorgi Mepishivili of Georgia in his opener.
Also competing on Wednesday is Logan Gruszka of Illinois, who drew Mehmet Bolat of Turkey in his first match.
The U.S. had one athlete reach the medal rounds on Tuesday, Taylor LaMont of Utah, who was fifth at 58 kg.
