Olympic and World champion Jordan Burroughs to appear on Arsenio Hall Show on March 13

Olympic gold medalist and two-time World champion Jordan Burroughs is scheduled to appear on the Arsenio Hall Show on Thursday, March 13.

Burroughs will be in Los Angeles to compete in the World Cup, scheduled for March 15-16 at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif. The World Cup is a 10-team international dual meet event featuring the top freestyle wrestling teams in the World. 

Burroughs is scheduled to tape his episode on the Arsenio Hall Show on Tuesday, March 11. The television show will air locally in Los Angeles on KTLA on Thursday, March 13 at 11 p.m. and also will be shown around the country on participating networks.

The daily, one-hour nationally syndicated late-night talk show is anchored by the Tribune Broadcasting station group, which has stations in seven of the top 10 markets, including WPIX in New York, KTLA in Los Angeles and WGN in Chicago. 

The current version of the Arsenio Hall Show premiered on Sept. 9, 2013 and is hosted by comedian and actor Arsenio Hall. The show features a mix of comedy, music and celebrity guests, adding a new perspective to the late-night scene.

Burroughs is a two-time World Cup champion who has a 71-1 overall record on the international level. He led the U.S. to a third-place finish at the 2013 World Cup in Tehran, Iran.

Burroughs won two NCAA titles for Nebraska and won the 2011 Hodge Trophy as the nation’s top collegiate wrestler. 

Burroughs (Lincoln, Neb./Sunkist Kids) burst onto the international scene in 2011 and captured a World title at 74 kg/163 lbs. that year in Istanbul, Turkey.

He followed by winning a 2012 Olympic gold medal in London, England before earning his second World title in 2013 in Budapest, Hungary.
