ASICS World/Olympic champ autograph signing start with Adeline Gray in Fargo on Saturday at 3 pm

FARGO, N.D. – ASICS has announced that there will be six Olympic or World gold medalists attending the ASICS/Vaughan Junior and Cadet Nationals at the Fargodome in Fargo, N.D. for autograph signings.


Featured superstar wrestling heroes at the ASICS booth are Olympic and World champions Jordan Burroughs, Dan Gable, Tom Brands, Kevin Jackson and Cael Sanderson along with World champion Adeline Gray


The week begins with a signing on Saturday, July 19 by World champion and three-time World medalist Adeline Gray, who is also a member of the 2014 U.S. Women’s World Team. Gray will start signing autographs at 3:00 p.m. at the ASICS Booth in the Fargodome


Next up will be 2012 Olympic gold medalist Jordan Burroughs on Wednesday, July 23 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.. Burroughs won gold at the 2012 Olympic Games at 74 kg/163 lbs. and was a World Champion at the weight class in 2011 and 2013. Burroughs has also earned a spot on the 2014 U.S. Freestyle World Team.


Dan Gable, a 1972 Olympic champion and 1971 World champion, makes his first appearance on Wednesday, July 23, as a special guest at the All-American Wrestling Supply Coaches Social from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.Gable was the most successful college coach in history at the University of Iowa, as well as a three-time Olympic Team coach.


Thursday, July 24 will feature two great stars. Gable will return to sign autographs at the ASICS booth in the Fargodome.


Also on July 24, 1996 Olympic gold medalist and current Iowa head coach Tom Brands will make an appearance. Brands is a 1993 World Champion and made four straight U.S. World or Olympic Teams. In 1993, Brands and his twin brother Terry was named the John Smith Outstanding Freestyle Wrestlers of the year, as both won World titles side by side.


Friday, July 25 will feature a pair of wrestling legends who are both Olympic champions.


2004 Olympic gold medalist Cael Sanderson will make an appearance on Friday. Sanderson was the first undefeated, four-time wrestling champion in NCAA history competing for Iowa State (1999-2002). As the current head coach at Penn State, he has led the Nittany Lions to four straight NCAA titles.


1992 Olympic champion Kevin Jackson, who won World gold medals in 1991 and 1995, will also appear on Friday. Jackson is currently the head coach at Iowa State University, and is a past USA Wrestling Freestyle National Coach.


They’ll all be signing large posters and autograph cards free of charge. Announcement boards with their photos will be placed around the FargoDome to remind everybody of these autograph sessions. For those who do not yet have a time slot finalized, their appearance time will be posted in the ASICS booth and announced in the arena.


Gray, Baumgartner, Jackson and Sanderson are all past Junior National champions.


The ASICS/Vaughan Junior Nationals is the world’s largest wrestling tournament with more than 4,000 athletes competing on over 20 mats at the FargoDome, an indoor football stadium.
