In wake of today's tragic news regarding the Oklahoma State women's basketball program, Cowboy wrestling has postponed both matches scheduled for this weekend.
"With so many people mourning in the Oklahoma State community, we felt like it was best to postpone the matches and let the athletic department staff focus on a memorial" coach John Smith said. "We are fortunate that we are in a position to reschedule our events. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of Coach Budke and Coach Serna, Cowgirl basketball and the countless others deeply affected by this terrible news."
Tonight's match against Rutgers, originally scheduled for 7 p.m., and Sunday's match against Missouri, originally scheduled for 6 p.m., will be made up at a later date yet to be determined.
