Alex Shaffer and Marty Morgan to go 'On the Mat' this week

Alex Shaffer, a New Jersey state wrestling champion who stars in the new wrestling movie "Win Win" and Marty Morgan, former assistant coach at Minnesota who coaches MMA star Brock Lesnar, will go "On the Mat" this Wednesday, May 4.
"On the Mat" is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum. The show can be heard live on the Internet at www.kcnzam.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:00 PM CST on AM 1650, The Fan. A podcast of the show will be available on themat.com.

Alex Shaffer made his acting debut in the film "Win Win." The film, which features wrestling prominently throughout, has received extremely positive reviews. Shaffer was a state champion in New Jersey prior to making this movie.
Morgan was an assistant coach at the University of Minnesota before training mixed martial arts star Brock Lesnar full time. He was an NCAA champion at 177 pounds for Minnesota in 1991.
