West Point Wrestling Club has named longtime Army West Point coach Scott Green as its new Executive Director.

With the title and position change, Green will transition away from the Army West Point college staff after the upcoming NCAA Championships to lead the world-class Regional Training Center at West Point, which focuses on the Olympic styles of wrestling. West Point Wrestling Club is one of the few RTC’s to provide opportunities in all-three Olympic disciplines.

“Working with high-quality athletes in any style is really rewarding,” said Green. “After going to Bulgaria [2025 U20 Worlds] and working with high-level freestyle and Greco-Roman athletes in the RTC and our Cadets, I’m excited to help them make World Teams and continue their wrestling paths.”

Green has been on staff at Army West Point since 2021 and is in the midst of his fifth season with the college program as Associate Head Coach. He has consistently coached Army West Point athletes on the freestyle and Greco-Roman circuits over that time, including at two age-group World Championships and five age-group Pan American Championships.

“The promotion to Executive Director of the West Point Wrestling Club is the best decision for the future of our program and RTC,” said Troy Nickerson, Army West Point Head Coach. “Scott is the right man for this role and will continue to elevate our club and Olympic programming efforts.”

Green helped coach 15 Army West Point athletes to 20 NCAA Championships qualification berths during his time on staff, with Ben Pasiuk becoming an All-American for the program at 174 pounds in 2024. Last season, Army West Point pushed seven athletes to the NCAA Championships, tied for the second-most in program history.

Prior to landing at West Point, Green held an 11-year stint as the head coach of Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School, which is one of the top high school programs in the country.
