U.S. draws opponents at Freestyle World Cup, plus how to follow the action

MOSCOW, Russia - The United States has received its draw for the pool competition portion of the Freestyle World Cup. All of the pool bouts will be conducted on Saturday.
Team USA has been drawn into pool B, which also features Iran, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. At the 2009 World Championships, Azerbaijan was second, Iran was third, the United States was seventh and Uzbekistan was eighth.
The U.S. will face Uzbekistan in round one, Iran in round two and Azerbaijan in round three.
Pool A will feature Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Turkey. At the 2009 World Championships, Russia was first, Turkey was fourth, Ukraine was fifth and Belarus was sixth.
Some of the star athletes that the U.S. team may face on Saturday include two-time World champion Dilshod Mansurov of Uzbekistan at 60 kg/132 lbs. and 2009 World champion Mehdi Taghavi of Iran at 66 kg/145.5 lbs.
Azerbaijan features three 2009 World silver medalists: Zalimkhan Guseinov at 60 kg/132 lbs., Chamsulvara Chamsulvaraev at 74 kg/163 lbs. and Hetag Gazyumov at 96 kg/211.5 lbs. Another 2009 World silver medalist in the pool is Iran's Fardin Masoumi at 120 kg/264.5 lbs.
There are a number of ways which wrestling fans can follow the action, with both results and video being offered.
FILA has created a Freestyle World Cup website, which should have updated results from all of the dual meets. Follow the action at:
