Final four U.S. women's wrestlers weigh-in and receive draws at Junior World Championships

BUDAPEST, Hungary - The final four U.S. women's freestyle wrestlers at the Junior World Championships have weighed in on Thursday and received their draws for Friday's competition.
Two members of the 2009 FILA Junior World Team are competing on Friday: Victoria Anthony (Huntington Beach, Calif./New York AC) at 48 kg/105.5 lbs. and Helen Maroulis (Rockville, Md./New York AC) at 55 kg/121 lbs.
Anthony will open with Yasmine Abigai Leon Martinez of Mexico.
Anthony was a 2009 Junior World champion at 44 kg/97 lbs. and moved up in weight this year She wrestled for Simon Fraser Univ. last year.
Maroulis drew Maria Gaidau of Moldova in her first bout.
Maroulis did not win a Junior World medal last year, but was a 2008 Junior World bronze medalist. Maroulis competed at Missouri Baptist last year. She competed in the 2008 Senior World Championships
Also competing on Friday are two other successful women's college wrestlers: Lauren Louvie (Massillon, Ohio/Univ. of the Cumberlands) at 63 kg/138.75 lbs. and Brittany Delgado (Fountain Inn, S.C./Gator WC/OCU) at 72 kg/158.5 lbs. Louvie attends the Univ. of the Cumberlands and Delgado attends Oklahoma City Univ.
Louive will open with 2007 European Cadet runner-up Anna Fedorova of Ukraine. Delgado's first opponent is 2009 Asian Junior bronze medalist Naranchimeg Batsaikhan of Mongolia.
"We have a great opportunity ahead of us tomorrow" said U.S. World Team coach Alex Conti. "Hopefully we take advantage of where we are in the bracket and wrestle to the level we are capable of wrestling."
