Haiti has been ravaged by two major earthquakes in the last week. The 7.0 last week rattled the capital of Port-au-Prince, while Wednesday's aftershock measured 6.1 on the Richter scale.
Cable news stations showed the images of the collapsed Haitian infrastructure. The country, which shares the island of Hispanola with the Dominican Republic, has been seeking donations through a variety of efforts here in the U.S. and internationally.
Americans were impacted, but USA Wrestling was also directly impacted. U.S. Freestyle National Team member Obe Blanc was born in Haiti and moved to the U.S. when he was eight years old.
With much of his immediate family still in Haiti, Blanc talks about his reaction and personal strife in trying to track down family members and about what he's had to watch from afar.
Blanc sat down with Jason Bryant of USA Wrestling to talk about the impact.
