Utah Valley's Warnick Named WWC Director of Media Relations

The Western Wrestling Conference has selected James Warnick as its Director of Media Relations. Warnick also serves as an assistant sports information director at Utah Valley University.
Warnick was recently promoted from a sports information assistant to an assistant sports information director at UVU and is now in his third year of working in the Wolverine Athletic Department. He has been the primary contact for the wrestling program at UVU all three years.
James graduated from Utah Valley in the spring of 2008 with a bachelor's of science degree in communications and an emphasis in journalism. The Utah native currently resides with his wife Lisa in his hometown of Pleasant Grove, Utah.
Warnick is replacing Aaron Voos, who served as the WWC's media relations director during the 2009-10 season.
The Western Wrestling Conference, in its fifth year of competition, is comprised of seven schools including the Air Force Academy, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State, Utah Valley and Wyoming.
