The 2026 USA Wrestling Women’s National Championships are set for a return appearance to The Podium in Spokane, Wash., with the best young athletes in the country vying for national titles and selections to U.S. World and Pan American Teams.
The competition is set for April 9-12 with women’s freestyle and Greco-Roman tournaments offered in the USA Wrestling 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U age groups, on top of the UWW U15, U17, U20 and U23 women’s freestyle divisions.
Champions at the U17, U20 and U23 levels are eligible to represent the U.S. at an age-group World Championships event later this year. The U.S. Pan American squads will also be determined in the UWW age-group divisions, except U17, based on the results from Spokane. Refer to the USA Wrestling Team Selection Criteria for more details on international team selections.
52 champions from 2025 are currently registered to compete again in Spokane. There are over 2,100 entries to the event with less than a week until showtime. Online registration for this event will remain open through 9 a.m. (ET) on April 10 for select divisions. Sign up today to test yourself against the nation’s best.
The USA Wrestling Women’s Nationals is the second of four events offered in the USA Wrestling Triple Crown Series for 16U and Junior girls and is the final stop on the Triple Crown tour for the 14U and below age groups. To earn the coveted Triple Crown Award in the 16U or Junior division, girls must win first place at the USA Wrestling Folkstyle Nationals and USA Wrestling Freestyle Nationals, plus claim top prize at either the Women’s Nationals or National Girls High School Recruiting Showcase. Similarly, the 14U and below age groups must win first place at the Brian Keck Memorial Preseason Nationals and Kids Folkstyle Nationals, plus take top prize in Spokane.
Stop signs will be awarded to champions in the U15, U17, U20 and U23 divisions. Custom belts will go to freestyle champions in the 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U brackets.
An additional day has been added to this year’s schedule to accommodate athletes trying out for multiple World Teams, as well as introducing a Greco-Roman division for the 14U and below age groups. The tournament begins on Thursday with the U20 preliminaries. Friday runs through the U20 and U15 tournaments, plus the 14U, 12U, 10U and 8U freestyle brackets. The U17 and U23 divisions span Saturday and Sunday, with 14U, 12U, 10U and 8U Greco-Roman running start-to-finish on Saturday.
The USA Wrestling Women’s Nationals will be broadcast live on FloWrestling. Brackets will be available through USA Bracketing.
