As a part of his Senior Art Exhibit at Northern Michigan University, senior Electronic Imaging major and 2009 U.S. Greco-Roman World Team member Chas Betts developed two promotional shorts focusing on USA Wrestling.
Betts, from St. Michael, Minn., put the two promos together for the student gallery for graduating seniors in the School of Art & Design.
Said Betts: "I chose to use the opportunity to work on what I would consider my vision for advertisement and promotion of USA Wrestling. I thought it would be appropriate to do one that was hard-hitting and fast-paced as well as one which shows the elegant side of wrestling."
Betts is currently ranked No. 1 in the U.S. Greco-Roman rankings at 84kg/185 pounds heading into next weekend's U.S. Open.
Coming into the U.S. Open, Betts has previously won the NYAC International Open in 2009. He won the 2009 World Team Trials after finishing third at the U.S. Nationals that same year.
A graduate of St. Michael-Albertville H.S. in Minnesota, he won a state championship in 2004 as a senior and won Junior Nationals in Greco-Roman the summer after graduating high school.
