Universal Sports to air four different tape-delayed TV shows of World Wrestling Championships, Oct. 1-4

Universal Sports, which is available in 56 million homes, will air four different one-hour primetime shows with highlights from the World Wrestling Championships, held last week in Herning, Denmark.
Each show will include highlights from the medal matches, airing nightly from Thursday, Oct. 1 - Sunday, Oct. 4. There will be two airings each day, at 7 p.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET.
The broadcast team for the television shows consist of 2000 Olympic Gold Medalist Rulon Gardner and play-by-play commentator Jim Watson.
The United States won three medals during the World Wrestling Championships. Capturing silver medals were freestyle wrestler Jake Herbert at 84 kg/185 lbs. and Greco-Roman wrestler Dremiel Byers at 120 kg/264.5 lbs. Winning a bronze medal was freestyle wrestler Tervel Dlagnev at 120 kg/264.5 lbs.
Three U.S. women wrestlers participated in bronze medal matches and finished fifth in their divisions: Tatiana Padilla at 55 kg/121 lbs., Deanna Rix at 59 kg/130 lbs. and Adeline Gray at 67 kg/147.5 lbs.
