There are still spots available for an online course for USA Wrestling's National Coaches Education Program Bronze Level Clinic.

This class will be available on Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 25-26 from 6:30 p.m. -8:30 pm (Mountain Standard Time). Participants must attend both sessions to receive credit for the course.

An outstanding staff has been assembled to conduct the bronze clinic. Tim Hartung, a two-time NCAA champion and U.S. Freestyle World Team member, will participate. Tony Black, NCAA All-American and USA Wrestling Manager of Grassroots Development, and USA Wrestling's National Coaches Education Program Manager Sam Barber will also instruct during the clinic.

To coach in the corner at USA Wrestling's regional and national events, you are required to be a Bronze Level Certified Coach. There will be in-depth discussions on risk management, program development, philosophy of coaching and more.

The cost of the course is $75 (non-refundable). Once registered, participants will receive a receipt along with the participant packet and test via internet. A subsequent e-mail will be received from gotowebinar.com with the login and password.

To participate, coaches must have a USB headset with a microphone (which costs only $20) so they can participate in the discussion. Upon completion, participants will mailed "The Coaches Guide to Excellence" and must complete a 125-question test to submit to USA Wrestling. Those that pass the test will receive the NCEP Bronze Card, the certification certificate, and choice of a cap or polo shirt.
