USA Red goes 3-0 as three U.S. teams faced Russian youth team at New York Athletic Club on Friday

Three teams of age-group U.S. wrestlers battle a team from Russia in a freestyle wrestling dual meet event held at the famous New York Athletic Club in New York City on Friday, June 19.
The Russian team featured teenage competitors from the elite Club Olympus from Dagestan Republic of Russia.
USA Red, which featured a number of nationally ranked wrestlers on the Junior level, had a 3-0 record in the competition. USA Red defeated Russia, 6-0, stopped USA Blue, 7-1 and beat USA White 5-0
Among the stars on USA Red were Junior National champions Tyler Fraley of New Jersey, Logan Stieber of Ohio, Andrew Alton of Pennsylvania and Dylan Alton of Pennsylvania, as well as Cadet National champion Andrew Campolattano.
Russia went 1-1-1 in their duals, USA Blue had a 1-1-1 record and USA White went 0-3 for the evening.
All proceeds from the event went to the Beat The Streets - New York City Program.
The Russian team participated in training opportunities during the week in the New York area. They also spent a week on a training and competition tour in the Chicago area.
