HEAD WRESTLING COACH, Athletics. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga seeks a qualified and motivated individual to lead a highly-successful NCAA Division I wrestling program. The head coach is expected to guide, encourage and support our Student-Athletes in their quest for comprehensive excellence - academically, athletically and socially. This position bears responsibility to efficiently and effectively manage all elements of our wrestling program. This includes, but may not be limited to: Academics, Budget, Compliance, Competitive Performance, Development, Equipment, Facilities, Recruiting, Staff Supervision, Team Travel, and Community Service. Certain coaching standards should be met, including a commitment to recruit, hire, orient and evaluate in accordance with our department mission and values.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Previous college-level coaching experience is desirable. Candidates are expected to possess a working knowledge of and adhere to all institutional, conference and NCAA guidelines, rules and regulations. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
