U.S. Greco Roman Veterans team travels to Finland for World Championship, Sept. 4-6

Many of the nation's top Veterans wrestlers will be competing at the 2009 Veterans World Greco-Roman Championships September 4-6, 2009 in Kouvola, Finland.
Among the team members is 2007 Veterans World Greco-Roman champion Ronald Hughes, who will be competing in Division C at 74kg this year.
Four of the athletes traveling from Team USA to Finland were members of last year's Greco-Roman Veterans Team including; Michael Cain at 130kg in Div.D, Peter Haag at 85kg in Div.E, Steve Horton at 69kg in Div.A, and Stephen Contarino at 85kg in Div.D.
Six members of the team won USA Wrestling Veterans Greco-Roman national titles this year: Horton, Haag, Contarino, Tony Piva, Chris Brown, Brian Lindsey, Valentin Kalika and Ray Lofti.
Also, other members of the team will be Jay Turner at 97kg in Div.A, James Schartner at 58kg in Div.E, Jeff Anderson at 97kg in Div.B and
The U.S. delegation will have 14 athletes competing in five divisions.
