There is an opportunity for wrestlers of the age of 14-18 to attend a youth camp held in Herning, Denmark during the World Wrestling Championships September 21st-27th.
The Youth camp is for young wrestlers all over the world to train during the day and then watch their heroes competing in the championship later on.
This camp will offer meals, sleeping on the mat, and access to the World Wrestling Championships for free. The participants so far are from Norway, Sweden, Austria, Germany, Finland, and Denmark.
The youth camp will be held in the same area right next to the championship. The camp will supply three meals throughout the day.
USA Wrestling is offering this opportunity to a team or club which is willing to organize and fund the trip and provide adult supervision for the athletes.
Team members will be in charge of transportation to and from Denmark, but local transportation will be taken care of through the camp.
This is a great opportunity for younger wrestlers to participate in a camp at the World Championships in Denmark. These athletes will get the chance to train with other wrestlers from a variety of different nations and be exposed to a tremendous cultural experience.
USA Wrestling would prefer to work with a team of no less then five members.
Deadline for committing to attend this camp is September 2, 2009.
