Brute Wrestling supports wrestling clubs and schools with free earguards
by Mark Scott
Through a generous donation from Brute Wrestling, several wrestling clubs and school programs across the country received ear guards for their teams. The goal of the donation was to reach those clubs and schools that were less fortunate than others, and could not otherwise afford ear guards for all their team members. Those groups receiving the headgear thought the Brute Wrestling donation were: * Peninsula Wrestling, Oregon * Connecticut/USA Wrestling * Santa Ana High School, California * Beatrice High School, Nebraska * Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind * Durango/USAW, Colorado * Lakeview High School, Illinois * Harvey Twisters Wrestling Club, Illinois * Cortez Wrestling Club, Colorado * AC3 Wrestling Club, New Mexico * Seven Beat the Streets programs in the Chicago, Illinois area. Over 600 pairs of quality ear guards where distributed through the donation. Mark Scott, USA Wrestling Director of State Services said, "Through this generous donation from Brute Wrestling, coordinated by John Purnell, President and Chief Executive Officer for Brute Wrestling, several programs across the United States greatly benefited from receiving ear guards for their program. This donation of ear guards is a great tribute to how much Brute Wrestling continues to support the wrestling community."
