NCAA women’s wrestling award standings update for February 11

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA has released the standings for the 2026 NCAA Women’s Wrestling Awards. These will be awarded in March during the very first Women’s Wrestling Championship.

The three awards will honor the Most Dominant Wrestler as well as the student-athletes that have accumulated the most falls and the most technical falls throughout the course of the regular and postseasons.

For falls and tech falls to be counted for the awards they must come against opponents from other NCAA women’s varsity programs. Ties in the two categories are broken based on the aggregate time.

This week features the unveiling of standings of the Most Dominant Wrestler award, which is a 15-match minimum to qualify for the standings.

The Most Dominant Woman Wrestler standings are calculated by adding the total number of team points awarded through match results and dividing that number by the total number of matches wrestled. Points per match are awarded as follows.

• Fall, forfeit, injury default or DQ = 6 points (-6 points for a loss)
• Tech falls = 5 points (-5 points for a loss)
• Major decision = 4 points (-4 points for a loss)
• Decision = 3 points (-3 points for a loss)

In the lead is Savanna Witt of Eastern with an average of 4.73. Coming up next is Fort Hays State’s 180-pounder Isabella Renfro with a 4.68 average. Rounding out the top three is Talisha Lewis from Felician with an average of 4.5.

Ella Gahl of Manchester takes the lead this week with 22 falls in 41:01. Mount Union’s Lori Grimes at 180-pounds is in second collecting 21 in 29.42. In close pursuit, Taylor Miess of North Central College is next with 20 in 25:58.

The top two in tech falls for Division III stays the same this week with Abigail Cooper of Lehigh securing 16 falls in 34:12.
