Two members of the 2016 U.S. Greco-Roman Olympic Team appear in the July UWW Greco-Roman World rankings.

Two-time World bronze medalist Andy Bisek (Colorado Springs, Colo./Minnesota Storm/OTC) remained at No. 5 at 74 kg/163 lbs.

Jesse Thielke (Germantown, Wis./New York AC/OTC), a past Junior World bronze medalist who won the U.S. Olympic Trials and qualified for Rio in the 2nd World Olympic Qualifier in Turkey, holds down the No. 17 mark for the second straight month at 59 kg/130 lbs.

Bisek and Thielke are the only two U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers to appear in the rankings this month. Neither has competed since the last ranking, as the USA team has been training for weeks in Azerbaijan.

The other two U.S. Olympians, Robby Smith (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC/OTC) at 130 kg/286 lbs. and Ben Provisor (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC/OTC) at 85 kg/187.5 lbs. are not ranked. Smith placed fifth in the 2013 and 2015 World Championships, and has competed in three straight World meets for the United States. Provisor will be competing in his second Olympic Games for the United States.
