Beat the Streets New York to host Olympic wrestling watch parties in NYC

Beat the Streets New York is set to host Olympic watch parties on Aug. 18 and Aug. 19 at The Grayson in East Village, NYC, to cheer on members of the U.S. Olympic wrestling teams.
"There is nothing like cheering on the U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team in the company of wrestling friends,” BTSNY Executive Director Brendan Buckley said. “At Beat the Streets, we are excited to have arranged a venue to watch the Olympics on Friday, August 18 & Saturday, August 19 for everyone in New York City that cares about wrestling. We can’t wait to watch these studs represent the U.S. and strive for a gold medal!”
The women’s freestyle medal matches at 53 kg/116.5 lbs. and 75 kg/165 lbs. will be shown Aug. 18, starting at 3 p.m. (ET) with 2015 World champion Helen Maroulis and three-time World champion Adeline Gray, seeking to achieve the first Olympic gold medal in women’s wrestling for the United States.
Friday’s watch party will feature the medal matches for men’s freestyle at 57 kg/125.5 lbs. and 74 kg/163 lbs., with Daniel Dennis and 2012 Olympic champion Jordan Burroughs representing the U.S., respectively. The event will start at 3 p.m.
