Roman Bravo-Young named USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week

Roman Bravo-Young (Tucson, Arizona/Team Arizona) has been named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week.
Each week, TheMat.com will select an Athlete of the Week, based upon performance within wrestling for that week. The selection committee will consider any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the Senior level.
Bravo-Young became a double champion for the second straight year at the USA Wrestling Cadet Nationals in Fargo, N.D.
Bravo-Young earned Cadet Nationals titles in Greco-Roman and freestyle for the second straight year. He won titles at 113 pounds in both styles at the Fargo Dome.
Bravo-Young downed Minnesota’s Peyton Robb 8-6 in the Cadet Greco finals a week ago.
Bravo-Young defeated Pennsylvania’s Matthew Parker 11-4 in the freestyle finals this past Friday.
