Oklahoma State's Chris Chionuma named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week

Chris Chionuma (Blue Springs, Mo./Oklahoma State University) has been named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week.
Each week, TheMat.com will select an Athlete of the Week, based upon performance within wrestling for that week. The selection committee will consider any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the Senior level.
The 15th-ranked Chionuma topped All-American and No. 10 Ethen Lofthouse 3-2 at 184 pounds to spark No. 2 Oklahoma State to an 18-12 win over No. 4 Iowa on Sunday in Stillwater, Okla.
Chionuma broke a 1-1 tie by scoring a third-period takedown en route to the pivotal win. He is 15-5 this season for the Cowboys.
Chionuma, a senior, placed fifth, second and first at the NAIA National Championships for Lindenwood before transferring to Oklahoma State. He redshirted last season at OSU.
