Young U.S. talents to compete at 2025 U20 Pan American Championships in Lima, Peru, July 10-13

The United States will send a team of developing young talents to compete in the 2025 U20 Pan American Championships, which will be held at Polideportivo 1 -Videna in Lima, Peru, July 10-13.

The U.S. men’s freestyle and Greco-Roman team was selected based upon results at the U20 World Team Trials in Geneva, Ohio, while the U.S. women’s freestyle team was chosen based upon results of the U20 World Team Trials as part of the Women’s National Championships in Spokane, Wash.

The men’s freestyle team at the U20 Pan American Championships will feature five athletes who have qualified to compete at the 2025 U20 World Championships, Luke Stanich (65 kg), William Henckel (79 kg), Connor Mirasola (92 kg), Justin Rademacher (97 kg) and Cole Mirasola (125 kg). The men’s freestyle competition will be held Saturday, July 12.

A number of the men’s freestyle wrestlers have previous international experience. Rademacher won a bronze medal at the 2024 U20 World Championships and was a 2025 Senior Pan American Championships gold medalist. Connor Mirasola was a 2025 U23 Pan American champion and competed on the 2024 U.S. U20 World Team. Kyler Larkin (61 kg) was a member of the 2022 U.S. U17 World Team. Adam Waters (86 kg), was a 2023 U17 Greco-Roman World Team member and won a gold medal in freestyle and the 2023 U17 Pan American Championships.

The U.S. Greco-Roman team at the U20 Pan American Championships features four athletes who qualified to compete at the 2025 U20 World Championships: Caleb Noble (55 kg), Landon Drury (63 kg), Leister Bowling IV (77 kg) and Shilo Jones (130 kg). The Greco-Roman competition will be held Thursday, July 10.

Drury has extensive international experience, including winning a 2013 U20 Pan American gold medal and competing in the 2024 U20 World Championships. Pierson Manville (67 kg) was a 2021 U17 Pan American champion in both styles.

The U.S. women’s freestyle team has four athletes with previous international experience. Carissa Qureshi (57 kg) was a member of the 2024 U.S. U20 World Team. Bella Williams (59 kg) was a 2025 U23 Pan American Championships gold medalist. Lilly Luft (62 kg) competed on the 2021 U17 World Team. Cadence Diduch (65 kg) was a 2024 U20 World Team member and won a gold medal at the 2023 U17 Pan American Championships. The women’s freestyle competition is set for Friday, July 11.

There will be a U20 Pan American Beach Championships on Sunday, July 13 at the Complejo Panamericano Costa Verde in San Miguel. Three U.S. wrestlers will compete, all with previous international experience. U.S. men competing on the beach include Terrell McFarland (90 kg) and Dom Porter (Over 90 kg), with U.S. women’s Beach wrestler Sadie Evans (70 kg) also competing in the sand. Evans won a bronze medal at the 2024 U17 World Beach Championships. McFarland was a 2024 U17 Pan American Beach champion.

The event will be broadcast live on FloWrestling. Lima is at the same time as the U.S. Central Time zone. The sessions for the Olympic styles will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time. The Beach wrestling event will begin at 1:00 p.m. local time.
