Chris Brown named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for May 1-7

Chris Brown (Germantown, Md./Montgomery County WC) has been named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for May 1-7.
Each week, TheMat.com will select an Athlete of the Week, based upon performance within wrestling for that week. The selection committee will consider any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the Senior level.
Brown was a double champion at the USA Veterans National Championships, capturing Greco-Roman and freestyle titles this past weekend in Tucson, Ariz.
Brown won his fourth consecutive Veterans Greco-Roman title and second straight freestyle title at 76 kg/167.5 lbs in Division D ( 50-54 years old).
Brown has served as Team Leader for the past three Veterans World Greco-Roman teams, where he has won a silver medal and two bronze medals.
