Trent Paulson named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for May 25-31

Trent Paulson (Lincoln, Neb./Sunkist Kids) has been named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for May 25-31.
Each week, TheMat.com will select an Athlete of the Week, based upon performance within wrestling for that week. The selection committee will consider any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the Senior level.
Paulson captured the U.S. World Team Trials freestyle title at 66 kg/145.5 lbs. on May 31 at the Mid-America Center in his hometown of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Paulson took two straight matches from Jared Frayer in the best-of-3 final round series to qualify for the World Championships on Sept. 21-27 in Herning, Denmark.
Paulson, a 2007 NCAA champion for Iowa State, made his first U.S. World Team on the Senior level.
