ACAPULCO, Mexico – The draws for the 2022 Pan American Wrestling Championships have been conducted today in the three Olympic disciplines.

Competition begins Thursday with seven Greco-Roman weight classes, and runs through Sunday. All of the action is live on FloWrestling.

Team USA is loaded. The men’s freestyle team features Olympic champions Jordan Burroughs (79 kg) and Kyle Snyder (97 kg), plus World champions Burroughs, Snyder, Thomas Gilman (57 kg), Kyle Dake (74 kg) and J’den Cox, Olympic medalist Cox, and World medalists Gilman, Dake, Cox, Snyder and Daton Fix (61 kg) and Nick Gwiazdowski (125 kg).

The women’s team features Olympic medalist Sarah Hildebrandt (50 kg), World champion Jacarra Winchester (55 kg) and World medalists Hildebrandt, Winchester, Kayla Miracle (62 kg) and Forrest Molinari (65 kg).

The Greco-Roman team is led by World Team members Sam Jones (63 kg), Pat Smith (72 kg) and RaVaughn Perkins (77 kg).

This event scores points towards the UWW Ranking Series, which sets seeds for the 2022 World Championships in Serbia.
