The Greg Strobel “Make A Weight” Challenge ends March 10; There’s still time to get involved!

USA Wrestling, in partnership with the Greg Strobel Leadership Academy, announces the Greg Strobel ‘Make A Weight’ 30-Day Challenge is coming to end soon. There is still time to get involved and support the program.
Greg Strobel was an outstanding athlete, coach, mentor and ambassador to the sport of wrestling. The teachings and life lessons he left behind are profound, including the value he placed on creating a “Lifetime of Good Habits”.
Every year Greg challenged himself to make his college wrestling weight to demonstrate the importance of Discipline, Accountability and Consistency, while also enriching the lives of others by fostering positive relationships, making connections, and creating a Family atmosphere within the wrestling communities he served.
To honor his commitment of creating and teaching others a Lifetime of Good Habits, the Greg Strobel ‘Make A Weight’ 30-day Challenge was named in his honor. Funds raised go directly to the Greg Strobel Leadership Academy (GSLA), which has been created to continue Greg’s legacy of teaching others and unleashing human potential in all areas of life for current and future National Team athletes.
The 30-Day Challenge, which began over three weeks ago, ends Thursday, March 10, 2022.
For donors who wish to sponsor at a $250 level or higher will receive a GSLA 12 x 18 poster in appreciation for your generous contribution.
For participants in the challenge who raise $500 or more for their efforts in the Challenge will receive a GSLA 24 x 36 poster in appreciation for their effort and that of their sponsors.

Founded on the core beliefs of one of our sport’s greatest athletes and coaches, the Greg Strobel Leadership Academy is a training and development program focused on supporting our Senior Level USA Wrestling Athletes by learning, discussing, and sharing experiences around the core values of family, accountability, discipline, and creating a lifetime of good habits. Funds raised for this program directly support the development of curriculum, a guest lecture series, and other program expenses.
