UW-La Crosse is No. 1 dual team and Wartburg is No. 1 tournament team in new NWCA Div. III rankings

Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) released their fourth set set of regular season rankings following last week’s NWCA/USMC National Multi-Division Dual Championships in Louisville, KY. Warburg remains at the top of the of the Top 25 Tournament poll while UW-La Crosse moves to the top of the Top 30 Dual poll following their National Duals Championship. North Central (#4/#2) and Wabash (#5/#3) are the only two schools who find themselves ranked in the Top five of both polls.

In the individual rankings, there has only been one change to the top-ranked wrestlers. At 197# Beau Yineman (UW-Oshkosh) moves back into the top spot that he occupied when the first regular season rankings were released.


The NWCA Division III ranking committee consists of:

UMW Tony Valek (Augsburg) and Dave Malecek (UW-La Crosse)

LMW Brandon Bradley (Nebraska Wesleyan) and Jon McGovern (Dubuque)

SE Jon Laudenslager (Wilkes) and Anthony Bonaventura (Stevens)

ME Justin Signorelli (Alfred State) Jason Mclean (Muhlenberg)

NE Mike Sugermeyer (Western New England) and Corey Luce (NYU)

CENT Bill Schindel (Adrian) & Josh Malave (CWRU)
