Motivated male wrestlers on the U17 and U20 age levels should make plans to attend the USMC U.S. Open Championships at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las Vegas, April 27-May 1, for an opportunity to make a U.S. international team this year.

Men’s Freestyle and Greco-Roman spots on the U17 World Team, as well as the U17 and U20 Pan American Teams, are up for grabs in Las Vegas at their specific age-group national championships.

To compete on a U.S. World Team, you must be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid U.S. passport. It is highly recommended that those entering these trials competitions secure a passport right away. Don’t wait until after you make a team to secure your passport!!!

Athletes and their family should closely read the Team Selection Procedures prior to entering each competition.
