On the newest episode of Mat Chat, David Mirikitani interviews new Arizona State Volunteer Assistant Coach Eric Thompson, a three-time NAIA champion for Grand View University, who has previous coaching experience with the Nittany Lion WC, the M2 Training Center and with Lock Haven. Thompson also competed on the Senior freestyle circuit for many years as a heavyweight.
The conversation included how Thompson ended up with the Sun Devil program, his background in coaching and in freestyle wrestling, and many of his personal philosophies on wrestling and life.
