Greco-Roman draws set for U.S. wrestlers at Veterans World Championships in Greece

LOUTRAKI, Greece – The draws have been determined for the Veterans World Championships in Greco-Roman, which will run from Friday through Sunday this week. The U.S. has a large and talented group of athletes entered in the competition.
Competition on Friday will include Div. B and Div. E. Saturday wrestling will be in Div. C and Div. D. Sunday competition is in Div. A.
Coming into the Greco-Roman event, the USA won 20 medals and had five individual champions in men’s freestyle earlier in the week and won the freestyle team title. Three of the five U.S. Veterans World freestyle champions are entered in the Greco-Roman division and will be seeking double titles: Reece Humphrey (Div. A, 70 kg), Stephen Horton of Cibolo, Texas (Div. D, 70 kg) and Jon Banko of New Kensington, Pa. (Div. D, 78 kg).
