Match of the Day: Benji Peak and Lenny Merkin wrestle in the U23 Nationals semis

Two of the country’s top young talents collided in the 2020 U23 Nationals semifinals when Benji Peak took on Lenny Merkin. Peak, who was also a finalist in the Junior division, is a 2019 Junior Pan Am Championships bronze medalist and a 2020 Senior Nationals champion. Merkin is a 2019 U23 World Team member and a 2020 Senior Nationals third-place finisher. Currently, Peak trains at Northern Michigan, and Merkin trains with the NJ RTC.
