NCAA Div. I dual meet weekend recap on Monday, Dec. 20

As wrestling continues before the holidays, there was plenty of dual meet action across the country. Below, you can read about all of the action from last weekend, including some conference matchups that took place.

 

The 2021 Reno Tournament of Champions also took place on Sunday, with Oregon State winning the team title and having five individual champions.

 

Please note that due to the holidays, there will be no Div. I dual meet recap posted next week. USA Wrestling will have coverage of the Collegiate Duals, the Midlands Championships and the Southern Scuffle.

North Carolina defeats Appalachian State, 17-15

Bucknell splits at Bucknell tri-meet

Buffalo defeats Bucknell, 18-15

Buffalo defeats Lock Haven, 21-10

George Mason goes 1-2 at GWU Duals

Kent State goes 1-2 at NIU duals

Lock Haven drops a pair of duals at Bucknell tri-meet

Northern Illinois goes 2-1 including MAC win over Kent State at NIU Duals

Ohio goes 2-0 at GWU Duals

Appalachian State defeats Bellarmine, 46-6

Appalachian State falls to UNC, 17-15

Citadel drops matches to Duke, Bloomsburg at Duke Duals

Gardner-Webb splits at GWU Duals

Presbyterian falls to Duke, 30-7

 

Big Ten

Michigan State defeats Olivet and Baldwin Wallace

Purdue falls to Iowa State, 23-13

Iowa State defeats Purdue, 23-13

Oklahoma State defeats Air Force and Wyoming
