Live Updates: NCAA DI Men’s Wrestling Championships Quarterfinals

All quarterfinalists with a win advance to tonigh's semifinals and are 2026 All-Americans! Lose in the QFs, you move into the Blood Round tonight. In the consolation rounds, two wins this session moves you into the Blood Round to face the losers from the QF round.
3:02 PM - The quarterfinals wrap up as the top four seeds hold true at heavyweight: #1 Bastida vs. #4 Ferrari in the top half of the semifinals and #2 Trumble vs. #3 Ghadiali in the other tonight.
2:45 PM - For the first time in school history, Little Rock has an NCAA finalist. #3 Little got the lone takedown of the bout in extra time to defeat #11 McDanel of Nebraska, 4-1. On the top half of the bracket at 197 pounds, #1 Barr once again went bonus, 19-3 over #9 Posada of Stanford.
2:24 PM - Two more freshmen doing battle (both redshirsts). #7 Ferrari of Iowa with a counter into a takedown to advance over #2 seed Sinclair of Missouri, 4-1.
2:15 PM - #5 seed Mantanona of Michigan scores first-period a FALL over #20 Soldano of Oklahaoma to secure All-American honors. This is the R-Fr. first trip to the NCAAs.
2:04 PM - In a battle of 2025 All-Americans, #7 Steed of Missouri scored a seven-point move in OT to advance past #15 Wask of Navy and into the semifinals.
1:46 PM - A pair of 2025 NCAA finalists will meet in the semifinals at 165 pounds. #3 seed Caliendo became a four-time All-American by taking out #27 Parco of Parco. He meets #2 Blaze of Purdue for a return trip to the finals, who won a tight 4-3 battle over #10 Denny of NC State.
1:29 PM - Outside of #1 Duke's tech fall, the other three 157-pounds quarterfinals were exciting till the end. #5 Robideau of Oklahoma State secured a takedown in extra time over #4 Larkin of Arizona State and gets Duke next in a battle of true freshmen. In the bottom of the bracket, returning champion #2 Taylor of Nebraska iced it with a late takedown over #7 Webster of Illinois, 5-2. He gets #11 seed Watters from WVU who got an escape in the final 30 seconds to upset #3 Shapiro of Cornell, 6-5.
1:14 PM - So much excitement at 149 pounds, it all happened at the same time. #10 seed Valencia of Stanford recorded three third-period takedowns to comeback for the 12-9 win over #2 Joy of Cornell. 149 pounds has been the most exciting matches thus far - #1 vs. #20 and #11 vs. #10 in tonight's semifinals.
1:11 PM - EXPLOSION!!! #1 seed Van Ness gets the winning takedown with one second left in extra time to take out #8 Swiderski of Oklahoma State, 5-2.
1:10 PM - More excitement at 149 pounds. At his 4th NCAA Championships for his third school, #20 Lamer of Nebraska is an All-American for the first time in his career after a 12-0 major over #12 seed Young of Maryland.
1:06 PM - 4-time All-American honors came via FALL! #11 seed McNeil of Michigan gets the takedown and turns into into a third-period fall over #3 Wasilewski of Penn to reach the semifinals.
12:50 PM - Now a four-time All-American, #1 seed Mendez of Ohio State rolls to a 16-4 major decision and into the semifinals over #8 Vombaur of Minnesota. Also accomplishing his fourth All-American honors, #3 Hardy gets by #6 Cornella of Cornell, 5-3.
12:37 PM - 4 freshmen got the top 4 seeds at 133 pounds, and all four are into the semifinals. #4 Seidel of Virginia Tech got a 16-1 tech fall over #5 seed Larkin of Arizona State and will get a rematch with #1 Forrest in the semifinals. Meeting Davino in bottom half of the bracket, #3 seed Blaze of Penn State took out two-time NCAA finalist #6 Ayala of Iowa for the third time this year (5-3).
12:33 PM - Down on the other side of 133 pounds, #2 seed Davino scores a 14-5 major decision over defending national champion #7 seed Byrd of Illinois.
12:28 PM - 3 matches at his first NCAAs, 3 matches that did not make it out of the first period. Oklahoma State freshman Jax Forrest opened the 133 pounds QFs with an 18-3 tech over #8 Baker of Northern Illinois. Thus far, Forrest has gone: Fall (2:00), 16-1 tech (2:03), 18-3 tech (2:38).
12:19 PM - 125 went 125 again as upsets opened the morning session. #14 Moran of Indiana score a third-period takedown and took out #6 Volk while #10 McGowan of Princeton used ride outs to get by #2 Ventresca of Virginia Tech. The #14 and #10 will meet in one semifinal. The top half of the bracket saw a very tight match go to ride outs, but #1 Lilledahl of Penn State downed #8 Peterson of Iowa for the third time this year. He will get returning NCAA finalist #5 seed Sprately of Oklahoma State, who downed fellow returning All-American #4 Seymour of Lehigh, 8-2.
