The 2025 Senior World Championships conclude on Sunday from Arena Zagreb in Zagreb, Croatia. Today will feature Greco-Roman group three (63-67-87 kg) repechage and medal matches. Updates and results from each Team USA match can be found below.



4:30 p.m. – Repechage (GR 63-67-87 kg)

6 p.m. – Medal Matches (GR 63-67-87 kg)

The match is stopped early as the officials warn Jacobson for grabbing fingers. Jacobson scores first from passivity and gets a chance on top, 1-0 at 4:28. Jacobson gets his lift up in the air, but unable to step off the side for an attempt. We are back to standing. The 1-0 score holds until the break. Passivity on Jacobson, point to Yevloyev, at 2:26. This is the critical sequence coming up. Yevloyev with a straight lift. He steps off the side for a four-point lift. Jacobson nearly avoided exposure on that one. Jacobson is now down 5-1 with just under two minutes to go. A hard hand-fight goes to the end of the match with. No more points. Jacobson falls, 5-1.


Jacobson gets put down on passivity first at 4:39, 1-0 Sakabe. Jacobson steps over a gutwrench, millimeters close to getting a pin. He decides to lift Sakabe up from the back and goes big with an arching toss off the mat for four points. Jacobson leads it 6-1 with a minute to go in the period. Pummel to the break and it’s 6-1 Jacobson. Passivity on Sakabe, Jacobson gets a point and position up 7-1. A turn would win it. Jacobson is unable to find a score from top. We are back standing at 1:56. Takedown Jacobson—works under a front headlock attempt from Sakabe—to ice it with 59 seconds left, 9-1.
