Al Bevilacqua Celebration of Life to be held November 8 in New York City

In memory of the recent passing of wrestling icon Al Bevilacqua, the Bevilacqua family invites you to attend a Celebration of Life event in Al’s honor on Saturday, November 8 at the New York Athletic Club in New York, N.Y.

The Celebration of Life will take place immediately following the men’s freestyle competition at the 2025 Bill Farrell Memorial International, which is one of the top international wrestling events held on U.S. soil annually. USA Wrestling, Beat the Streets New York and the Bevilacqua family will host the reception on location to honor Al’s outstanding contributions to the sport of wrestling.

The Bill Farrell Memorial International wrestling tournament will feature many of the top U.S. wrestlers battling international opponents in Greco-Roman and women’s freestyle on November 7, in addition to men’s freestyle on November 8. Tickets will be available at the door.
