Northwest Bigfoot Battle Kicks Off 2025-26 Folkstyle Tour of America Series—93 champions decided in Spokane, Wash.

SPOKANE, Wash. – The 2025-26 USA Wrestling Folkstyle Tour of America Series launched last weekend with a spirited competition for boys and girls folkstyle divisions at the Northwest Bigfoot Battle held at The Podium.

 

Tournaments were held from the Middle School age group on down to the 8U division for both boys and girls, with over 1,600 athletes in action. True-Beginner brackets were also created for wrestlers with less than two years of experience in the sport.

 

Four tournament champions were spotlighted as Outstanding Wrestler recipients—Jay T Farrell (Middle School Boys, 100 lbs.), Cecilia Bargas (Middle School Girls, 95 lbs.), Eduardo Mares Jr. (12U Boys, 67 lbs.) and Neala Block (12U Girls, 55-64 lbs.).
