Wisconsin's Katie Davidson wins the pool championship dual for her team with a 10-0 technical fall at the 2025 14U Women's National Duals in Westfield, Indiana.

WESTFIELD, Ind. – Pennsylvania Blue (Pool A), California Blue (Pool B), Wisconsin (Pool C), and Minnesota (Pool D) topped their preliminary pools on day one at the 2025 14U Women’s National Duals at Grand Park Events Center in Westfield, Indiana.

Pennsylvania Blue dominated against Washington, winning the championship dual in Pool A, 56-20. En route to the Gold/Silver pool, Pennsylvania Blue won 13 matches, including pins from Peyton Segata (135), Camilla Hathaway (150), Finley Boetsch (165), Giada Croteau (90) and Layla Namerow (120).

Pool B was won by California Blue after a strong performance against Michigan. California Blue won 13 out of 17 matches in the dual, pulling out a 57-21 win in the championship dual. All but one of California Blue’s victories were bonus point wins, with six falls and six technical falls.

Wisconsin narrowly defeated Missouri in the Pool C championship dual. A technical fall from Katie Davidson (135) would be enough to push Wisconsin ahead for the 43-38 win. Three athletes won by fall for Wisconsin, Gwen Gross (75), Kylie Kinserdahl (90) and Ella Schachtner (110).

The Pool D champion was Minnesota with a 50-26 victory over Texas. Minnesota won the first five matches of the dual to pick up a strong lead early. The team went on another streak with five-straight victories starting at 95 pounds. Picking up falls for Minnesota was Payton Helmin (135), Loretta Fischer (140), Madilyn Pulk (150), Rhilynn Tolzman (95) and Emery Soukup (105).

The top two teams in each pool also advanced to the Gold/Silver Pool, which will determine the top eight teams in the tournament. Washington and Texas advanced as runners-up in their preliminary pools. There were two pools that had a true second place dual, Pool B and Pool C. Arizona defeated Michigan, 51-30, in Pool B. Missouri took out Pennsylvania Red, 42-32, to advance.

Color pool competition continues on Friday morning at 9 a.m. in Westfield, Indiana. The championship finals and placement matches are set for 2 p.m. The competition concludes with Greco-Roman action on Saturday.

All of the action will be broadcast live on FloWrestling. Full results from day one of the Women’s National Duals are available on USA Bracketing.
