Seeds announced for all three divisions in freestyle at 2025 Women’s National Duals in Westfield, Indiana

WESTFIELD, Indiana – The women’s freestyle seeds have been finalized for the 2025 Women’s National Duals following weigh-ins at Grand Park Events Center. Action will be held June 19-21 for 14U, 16U and Junior women’s wrestlers.


In 14U freestyle, the top four overall seeds were No. 1 Pennsylvania Blue (Pool A), No. 2 Illinois (Pool B), No. 3 Wisconsin (Pool C) and No. 4 Texas (Pool D).


Earning top four overall seeds in 16U freestyle were No. 1 Pennsylvania Blue (Pool A), No. 2 Illinois (Pool B), No. 3 Texas Blue (Pool C) and No. 4 Washington (Pool D).


In Junior freestyle, the top four overall seeds were No. 1 Pennsylvania Blue (Pool A), No. 2 Michigan Red (Pool B), No. 3 Missouri Blue (Pool C), and No. 4 Illinois (Pool D).


The remaining seeded teams will be slotted into each pool in order of rank. Brackets and real-time results from the event are available through USA Bracketing.


The top 16 teams were determined based upon the aggregate style-specific PIN rankings of the athletes on the team, based upon the rules set in the Policies and Procedures for National Dual Championships. A full list of the top 16 seeds can be found below.


The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. (ET) Thursday morning, running through each preliminary pool. The color pools that determine final placement will be held on Thursday. A complete schedule is available on usawrestlingevents.com.
