Philadelphia, PA – June 2, 2025 – Beat the Streets National (BTS), a mentor and wrestling-based youth development organization, is proud to announce the 2025 BTS National Camp and Duals, presented by ASICS, will be held June 24-26 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the University of Pennsylvania in the historic Palestra. Bringing together student-athletes, coaches, and supporters from across the country for two days of world-class training, community-building and cultural experiences.
The BTS National Camp and Duals is a unique event that combines elite wrestling instruction with solid mentorship, leadership development, and team-building experiences. More than 350 youth from BTS programs in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Lancaster, Detroit, Cleveland, Washington D.C., and the host city of Philadelphia, will come together to train with collegiate coaches, World Class athletes and compete in high-level dual meets.
The event fosters camaraderie, personal growth, and a deepened commitment to excellence on and off the mat. For many of these athletes, it’s not just about wrestling—participating in the BTS National Camp and Duals is an opportunity to step outside of their comfort zones, some traveling beyond city limits for the first time, flying in an airplane or traveling by train all for the first time. By providing these experiences our youth are able to expand their horizons, dream bigger and pursue opportunities they otherwise wouldn’t.
“We are honored to bring the 2025 BTS National Camp and Duals to the University of Pennsylvania, right in the heart of Philadelphia,” said James Mangan, Executive Director of Beat the Streets National. “Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and the commitment of our coaches and youth, we’re able to provide a transformative experience for hundreds of student-athletes striving for excellence both on and off the mat. The camp and duals are a united effort to empower youth through sport, opportunity, and elite-level competition.”
This year’s camp will feature guest clinicians from the U.S. Olympic and collegiate wrestling communities, alongside BTS alumni who have gone on to achieve success in both athletics and life. BTS student-athletes will train with Olympic-level coaches, engage in a career/education fair, hear from collegiate wrestling coaches, explore the rich history of Philadelphia while engaging in cultural experiences, and compete in a high-energy, team-based dual tournament that emphasizes sportsmanship and good character.
The Duals will be open to the public.
